Coffee me!   PIVX: DPXB8fkhRmj3gHWsNjC7DaEoLBsH3dTkGe

Step 1 - Check if on the correct wallet version

Go to Help > About PIVX Core while in the wallet.

Check the version.

You must be on v3.1.1, which is the latest, mandatory version!

If you're not, and on any RC versions, v2.3.x, v2.2.x, v2.1.x, or anything older, install the latest version.

Wallet downloads are at pivx.org/wallet.

The .exe links for Windows and the .dmg link for macOS are recommended as they are installers.

Even if you are on v3.1.0.2, you may still be on the invalid chain. Continue to the next step.

Step 2 - Check if on the correct chain

Go to Tools > Debug console while in the wallet.

Type in getinfo in the window that shows up.

Note the blocks and difficulty fields.

If you are fully synced up, here is what it would be on the correct chain (Refresh):

Now, type in getblockhash BLOCKS in the same window, where BLOCKS is the blocks you got by doing getinfo.

Enter what you got for blocks in this form and compare the output of getblockhash.

On correct chain:

If your output from getblockhash does not match what this form gives you for the correct chain, you will need to resync, by doing steps 1 and 2 of https://pivx.freshdesk.com/solution/articles/30000004661-wallet-crashes-or-has-crashed-and-now-won-t-launch-fails-every-time-what-do-i-do-.
